For todays challenge 'Hit The Beach'. This card depicts one of my favorite scenes from the beach - looking out at sailboats. You wouldn't believe the mess I made, and the hours it took to make this very simple card. Just couldn't seem to get it together today. I've got scraps, dies and ink everywhere. When I started to make my card for this challenge, I forgot it's CAS. Now I have 2 other cards partially completed that will work someday for a MIX challenge.

It's gorgeous and SO worth the effort! Alcohol ink DOES make the biggest mess too- I used it yesterday and have permanently blue fingernails! It's your designs that are so captivating and the gorgeous framing of your work! Love the use of the wave stencil!

Well, it turned out to be a super CAS card. I have had those days, that's for sure. All your trouble was worth it.

It's CAS in my book - and I love it! Nobody does clean and crisp white like you Priscilla. I always spent time imagining your sail boat views ... not jealous, not Sir, not me ...😉

Beautifully designed, and so worth the time and mess (but don't you just hate days like that?). The color you achieved is gorgeous, and it's a plus to have some cards partially completed - you'll save that time another day. Smile!

What a cute card! I love the alcohol ink paper. I know what your talking about, I make a mess with everything these days. I have no idea how I can do it every time.

Isn't that so often the way? The simplest looking cards are the hardest to execute! That said, this card is stunning and I love the look of the waves and sails, which I assume are what made your inky mess - SO worth it!

How funny....when I first looked at your card my immediate reaction was 'oh a sweet and easy card'. I guess that's not exactly what happened when you started it. Sometimes the easiest card can take for hours. Honestly, though, it's really a great looking card and so reflective of a beautiful day watching the sail boats come and go.
