Wow was this card fun. It actually came out how I planned and that NEVER happens for me. Actually, I planned for the bg to look a bit different but it came out better than I thought! That NEVER happens either. I messed the bg up - it was too dark and too busy, and Susie A. started speaking to me in my head and she said, "squirt some more water on it and add more ink." Well, Susie and I talked a bit (in my head, you know, lol) and we decided that we needed to add some white paint after the water idea didn't work too well. That came out wonderfully - so thanks Susie!!!
Sponged the whole thing - I am still trying to avoid coloring anything for some reason (maybe time and maybe skill and maybe both).
Love this mum image from A Day for Daisies. Printed it out three times, cupped it with my stylus, and popped them up.
Many hugz - hope you have an awesome weekend.
And may I say that this card represents my prayer for our country and world, may be all awaken soon with fresh hearts and see the true way.

awesome mixed media background, love the texture of the stenciling and blend of colours. The hydrangea is such a beautiful focal point for the card, the shaping really makes it stand out.

Aw, Nancy, your mums turned out fabulous, and isn't it funny how we have conversations in our head with our on line besties?? LOL, I do that all the time and it gives me more ideas than if I just talked to myself!! LOL Great card with the white added to tone down the BG !!

What a WOW factor in this one! I'm still amazed at all the fussy cutting you are willing to do and the time it takes to do it! It adds SO much, Nancy! However you created that background, it's spectacular!
