Thanks Maura for a lovely combination of color for this first Tuesday in July! It is refreshing...just like the Pacific Ocean not too far from my home. (Though it would be in a wet suit, I'd venture out into the water)...
oops, off subject...am I ever out of practice! I had to bring out my worldly woman to encourage a dear friend today. She's pondering and I certainly would never not give her FOOD for thought! Desserts even...though that spelled backwards:stressed. I know she'll arrive at the buffet with the answer right in front of her...
Thanks so much for stopping by. I am having too much fun in my garden this season...wish I could gather all of you up and sit a spell with me...
Stay wild...I hear it's a miracle cream for wrinkles, wink!

I thought your garden may have been keeping you away, and having seen photos I can see why ... *sighs* ... today you are back with your amazing imagination and thoughtfulness. You friend will be thrilled with this card, and well done with the colours too! Stay wild my friend x

Ohhhh Susan we are of kindred spirit...the stay wild bit, not the gardening bit LOL. Every inch of this is absolutely fabulous. Your paper piecing is fabulous and the entire card makes smile. Happy gardening, but please don't stay away so long!!!

How fun is this! Love the message and her fun skirt. Perfect card to encourage a friend facing challenges, choices, etc. I think you are on to something with the comment about wild and wrinkles...maybe wild distracts people from the wrinkles or makes them less noticeable. Super fun card and thoughts. Wish I could sit a spell with you in your garden too. Hugz

This is a fun card to encourage your friend- hope your garden is producing well- we were in Huntington Beach for a vacation a few years ago and were surprised how cold the Pacific Ocean is- I love my East Coast beaches

You are so precious in my eyes and in my heart, Susan. It's such a treat to see you back in the gallery if only for a fleeting moment. Your sentiment captured my heart. I love your female image and look, she has an Asian coin on her necklace! Very creative, my dear friend. I always love what comes from mind to paper for you. I wish I could come and sit a spell in your garden. I miss you.
