This is for IC552 and a Pinterest site of Napkins was our inspiration for this week. I went into inspiration overload as there were so many gorgeous napkins and place settings. There was no way possible for me to consider anything other than a floral project. Flowers were screaming off the screen. I finally settled on the Carolyn Roehm Tablescape. I loved the purple flowers against the all white cloth and walls in the background. My ornate frame was inspired by so many delicate decorative white napkins like this Linen Embroidered Cutwork.
I used two full sections of the Leafy Branch and added tons of formed tiny flowers to create the fullness of the inspiration flowers. I originally thought of trying to create the roundness of those puffy flowers in the picture but I couldn't quite figure out how to do it so I had to settle for a flat arrangement.
Audrie, this was such a wonderful inspiration site. You always inspire me with your wonderful choices. Thank you! : )
