This is an easel card I made for my DT post on the CottageCutz Blog. I used new dies from the Home Sweet Home release.
We have had quite a number of new families moving into our neighborhood in the past year. Lots of house going up for sale because older couples are downsizing.
I like to make a welcome card and send it along with a meal or a dessert. It's always appreciated.
So these new dies from CottageCutz were so perfect for me to welcome a new family. And, I thought an easel card would be a great way for them to display the card. There is a great tutorial right here on SCS and with several variations.
I sponged some clouds before I added the house diecuts. And, the enamel dots are some that I made from Perler beads. Get more info here on how to make them.

Mary, this is wonderful. What an inviting scene. I like the details down to the flag on the mailbox. It's all in the details. I hope you pup is kind to the postal carrier.

I can see why you're on CC DT, Mary. You're a whiz with dies. You seem to know all the right colors to use and where to place everything. This is a darling card. Your kindness is uncommon in today's world. Yes, I bet they do appreciate your kindness and welcoming spirit.
