I was mopping up leftover brusho ink about a week ago and had a paper towel filled with ink. So I hung the paper towel up to dry and used it a week later to create this fun background. I placed the inky paper towel over a piece of mixed media paper, spritzed with water and pressed down with my hands. The ink transferred to my card front, along with the texture from the paper towel. It was a great experiment.
I used more brushos to colour this leafy sprig die-cut from Penny Black. And used the same die to cut a piece of acetate to make my own stencil, which I used to sponge the leaves in the background.

You are too cool for school, Loll. This is just as gorgeous as the previous card. Good thing I'm not being asked which one I prefer: I'd be unable to chose just one. Yes, your experiment worked wonderfully well, my friend.
