This top folding card was made for yesterday's CAS challenge. I had it finished yesterday, but could not figure out how to get my scanner here at the lake to work with the lap top. My DH loaded Windows 10 on it over the winter and I had no clue how to find any of the applications, so I need him to show me. Luckily he has today off from work. This card uses the retired SU Blended Bloom which I have only used once before and a new die that I got at the stamp expo at the beginning of June. I stamped the image onto some watercolor CS and planned to only do the one layer of image, but the center did not stamp well on the rough side of the CS. So I stamped the center a second time onto the smooth side and cut it out to layer it. I used my inktense pencils to water color the petals. Ordinarily I would use more than one color to get some fun shading, but the red, white and blue theme of the CAS challenge looks better clean. Love the fun dotted pattern that the new die makes. I layered a piece of Poppy Parade CS behind the die cut area then stamped a greeting and added some sequins. The white center of the flower has some Wink of Stella added for shimmer.

Don't you just "love" learning new computer stuff? So glad your DH got you going! Your card is beautiful! I really like the color of blue you chose. Your flower is shaded beautifully and I really like the red polka dots at the bottom.
