IÂ’m your hostess this week in the Color Challenge, and IÂ’ve chosen Rose Red, Elegant Eggplant and Island Indigo. The dessert option this week is to use Ribbon on your card. This is my second card this week, and IÂ’m skipping dessert on this one!
We on the CC team are sad this week, as we say good-bye to one of our Color Divas, Peggy (pegmac71). Peggy, we are so sorry to see you leave our team, but we know there are wonderful things in your future. Please stay in touch. WeÂ’re gonna miss you SO much! IÂ’m dedicating this card to Peggy along with my wish for her to have fun in the sun!
I stamped this cute Pure Innocence girl, her ball and beach bag, and cut them out with the matching dies. Then colored with Copic markers, and paper pieced her swimsuit.
The water background was made by scribbling three colors of Zig markers on Bristol cardstock and then spraying with water. I moved the colors around a bit with a water brush, and then let the colors dry naturally overnight. The beach is a cream-colored cardstock, sponged on the edges and dotted with marker tips.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week. We choose our Guest Designers from the weekly favorites!

How precious, Barbara. I love the water and your little girl on her raft is precious. You picked some great colors this week and you've managed to make two beautiful cards with them.
