This is my Father's Day card for this year. I went back almost 20 years to find these stamps. It's an old SU set called Gone Fishing. I stamped the fish first in TH Distress Old Paper then masked it and stamped the creel in Antique Linen. I moved the colors around a bit with an Aqua pen and in layers added watercolor pencils just using the Aqua pen to blend the pencil lines. After the main images were dry I masked them and stamped Wetlands grass in Mossy Meadow and moved the color around just a bit (worked fast - really messy). There is also a sky blue wash in the background but it doesn't show up well in the photo. Looking forward to practicing more of this technique (no line watercolor) and hopefully get better at it. Thanks for taking a peek and have a great day!

It is so much fun to get out the oldies and apply all the new stuff to them...die cuts, distress inks, copics, new dsp...your fathers day card looks fabulous. Love the muted tones, great patterns and, those great rounded corners!
