I took this flower out of the DUD (didn't use doodads) box, but it is not my trash save. That is the lace and the black square under the flower. The lace is from a flower I got at church for Mother's Day and the black square is a foil wrapper from chocolate coal which I found in one of my craft drawers this morning. (Of course I ate a piece of it.) I love the crinkly look of foil after it has been squished and straightened out again. So the balck square is where the card started. Then I started looking for a bright colored flower in my DUD box. I thought this would do nicely! And other bits and pieces fell into place.
Thanks for the wonderful challenge, Carla. And TFL everyone else!

Pat, this is such a beautiful combination! The crinkled foil wrapper provides a great base for your DUD flower. I love the terms everyone gives to their leftover stash. Lovely bg and the lace and doily really brings this together. Definitely Trash to Treasure, thanks for playing in my challenge.

Love the bright pink in combination with the lace and black crinkled chocolate coal paper. If you have more, Pat, I could help you eat it!!

Wow! The flower colour caught my eye first then the lace. What great 'trash' you have! I have never heard of 'chocolate coal' before but it sure sounds interesting...yummmmmm.

Great trash to treasure, Pat - even if you did have to eat a square of chocolate along the way, LOL. The lace is really beautiful and looks great set against the foil wrapper. This has a really chic, stylish feel to it with that great colour combination.
