A very clean and simple card for today's CAS challenge "May Flowers". I have lovely orange and yellow poppies (both Welsh poppies and California poppies) and some of the larger oriental poppies blooming in my garden right now, so I'm inspired to use poppies on my cards!
Stamped, heat embossed, and watercoloured, die cut with a stitched square to add interest, and bordered with black - it feels like a real back to basics card with no embellishments, no dp, nothing fancy!

Susan, this is so pretty and you have painted these perfectly according to real life. I love the stitched edges too. You just reminded me that I had some of these poppies in my garden last year, but I don't think they overwintered. we are on the edge of the 5b zone. Now I have to go out to the back of the garden to check. My regular orange poppies won't bloom until June this year, as we had a late spring.

And it's beautiful, Susan! Love your watercolor! It flows so beautiful on these poppies. It didn't need papers or embellishment. Without them, it allows your artwork to shine!
