Today's Inspiration comes from a site called Artistic Switchplates.
I chose this plate for inspiration. I needed a birthday card for a cousin and this seems to fit the bill. Hope you like it.
It's been awhile since I've made a card. I had a total knee replacement on April 29th and am finally feeling human again! I can now drive, take a shower and walk with a cane. Now, if I could just cut my own grass!!

I wish I lived close enough to cut your grass (I certainly would)! So happy that you're feeling better too! At least your artistic skills have not suffered at all, this card is gorgeous! I love how beautifully your colors meld and the soft sentiment in the corner! Thank you for sharing your art with us!

I am so glad that you are feeling up to creating, Vicky, since I always enjoy seeing your cards in the gallery. This has such an artsy/grunge look using lovely colors. When I see pretty color combos like this I keep telling myself that there are other options besides "bright and brighter". One of these days I will be able to do something with more muted colors like this.
