| | I have been wanting to try this technique for a LONG time so I gathered some flowers & weeds (from my neighbors yard) and gave it a go . . . laid out my azalea petals and covered with parchment as the tutorial suggested and pounded away - It did leave behind a pretty WET mess so when I added the leaves & weeds, I covered with layers of paper towel instead and that absorbed alot more of the moisture. I'm not sure why my pale pink petals turned to grayish purple & brown (such is the world of experimentation!) The weeds stayed much truer to color. All in all a FUN experiment and one I'll try again . . . |
