i cut the leaf and the mats for the sentiment with my cameo (luv that machine!!). i actually cut two leaves, one on paper to use it for a mask and sponged tim holtz ink in the background for my image. stamped the pheasant and coloured him with copics. i used the versamark pen around the edges of the leaf and embossed it - fortunately it looks better irl. added a couple of brads. stamped and sponged the sentiment and popped it up. tfl

Wow -this is cool. I just love the way you used the Versamark pen and ep to create the outline of the leaf. Great way of adding texture. Well done colouring the pheasant too, I always struggle with the one I have, from Autumn Days.

Rose, your card is so masculine and perfect for a dad. Great highlighting and coloring. Hope you enjoying your spotlight as this week's FS. I did try to create a card using one of those 2 old birthday people. Unfortunately, my printer doesn't seem to want to spit out copies anymore, so when I ruined both images, I decided that was it for me. Should that change, I'll be back to craft a card in your honor. So glad you were selected this week.
