I made this mixed media card for my hubby to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary (today!).
I definitely went the opposite direction than my usual white cards, using black for my card base. I layered a script background with stenciled quatrefoil design in black pearl embossing paste, along with silver embossed sentiment. The XOXO's were die-cut four time, glued together and coated with glossy accents and popped up so it was resting on the sentiment banner.

Very nice anniversary card and CONGRATS. That is so wonderful you guys have stayed together and can be a role model couple showing people it can be done! We all give up too easily now days! Your card is different for you but has all your wonderful style - texture, cool designs, and layers. Love how you did the XOXO - I forget to even think about doing that but it comes out so well. Love the card. Hugz

WOW Loll! I'd say you perfected mixed media and love the black! This is SUPER creative and how I'd have loved to watch this process! What a great card for him! Happy Anniversary too!
