I created this clean and simple design for my dear blogging mentor; Susan Raihala. I really miss her uploads on SCS, but I still follow her blog. The textured paper with script (wish you could see it better in the photo - it's a beautiful texture) is simply folded in half and adhered from the back fold onto the inside of the card base - the inside of it being perfect for a short letter. The window in the front is completely empty and allows you to see the outside fold of the inner panel. I love the clean look of the simple window! I did all my IC531 prep on Monday....hoping that maybe she'd get the card by the time the challenge begins. smiles
P.S. Wanna try some nail art too? I was able to succeed using this technique: on my own medium length nails using a mask I made with my smallest circle punch and masking tape. Who knew I could use them for that!?
Please join us and create something uniquely your own this week! Hugs,
Audrie

You're amazing, Audrie. This reminds me of those beautiful note cards with vellum handmade envelopes I now have in my possession. As I said to another stamper earlier, everything you touch turns to gold. This is no exception.

Audrie, this is simply stunning and perfect in every way, and I'm so honored! The clean combination of the black with the antique writing paper is so very striking. You are BRILLIANT!
And you really are too kind. I really have some gorgeous happy mail on the way!?!?!?! Oh, the anticipation!!!!

Super stunning Audrie and where is the picture of your nails with your circle mask? I am sure they turned out fantastic! Love the challenge and hope to get a card made. Hugs!

Audrie, this is rich and stunning. Your choice of papers inspires me weekly. The feel of elegant paper makes me happy. It shows the recipient how much you care. First...even getting a snail card in the mail is special, and then when the paper is elegant and textured, it doesn't get any better. Your card is all of the above. I agree with Ms. Anne's,comment. The envelope finishes it with elegance too. Fav'd
