One of my four cards for the January Christmas card challenge. Our theme is Music. I chose titles of Christmas carols.
Using the MISTI, I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black. I left the stamp in the MISTI while i colored the image with SN and Sharpie markers. The stars were painted over with a yellow Stardust pen, and the white ribbon entwined in the image, as well as the accents in the letters, were colored with a clear Stardust pen. At that point, I placed the image back into the MISTI and stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black and embossed with clear ep.
I added subtle shimmer to the bells and french horn with some gold sparkle mist using a small paintbrush. The snow on the chimney was dotted with puff paint and sprinkled with glitter. The trim on Santa's hat and cuff was scratched with the point of my craft knife to create texture, and Glossy Accents applied to the ornament and bulb.
The trimmed image was edged with Stardust Stickles and allowed to dry before matting with glossy black and green glitter cs. I really wish you could see all the glimmer, shimmer, sparkle and shine!
As always, thanks for looking!

Wow, such attention to detail here!! I love what you did to make it all stand out - each thing was treated as if it were the most important thing in the entire image!! I can only imagine how the black embossing makes everything just POP! What a beauty!

OMG,Jody...this is just fabulous. It must have taken FOREVER to make. I am speechless. All the little details and the way you stamped the image with different inks after certain steps in an engeenering triumph. Pinned and faved.

You've selected an image that requires so much coloring but you managed to fill in every last detail beautifully. Only the misti would allow you to what you did with this magnificent card.
