Another woodgrain background using Karen Dunbrook's excellent tutorial. This time I distressed the panel after inking. Then I added a knot and strands of twine and a copper heated leaf sprig. I attached the back of the woodgrain panel to my card front in the center middle only, so the sides are free ... adds a bit of dimension without having to use pop-dots. Great for mailing too.

I LOVE THIS!!! Leaving your Beautiful "wood" loose like you did is an Amazing effect! You are forever inspiring me. I'm constantly going back over your Gallery and seeing what I can glean from it that I've missed in the past. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with all of us.
