oh, Maura, what enticing colors you served up here! I'll pass on the pie...but find me dancin', wearing' pink in a field of pumpkins!
I just love serendipities and here's one for you. My son texted me recently to say, I have something for you, Mom. He had been to MECCA (our Materials Exchange Center for Community Arts) with his girlfriend last week. And found the 'blot' stamp...I love it. Was probably .25 cents...priceless to me. And just perfect for my CC entry. When I saw the colours posted, I knew where this one was headed.
The colors were swiped onto the 'blot' stamper, Tim Holtz's Distress Markers positioned with a stamp positioner. The Basic Grey 'B Line' cassette tapes were perfect for illustrating the colors. The Stampers Anonymous sentiment seemed just right to me as the CC is a limiting call. I added the dashes down the left side to frame the piece and the cool nib pen dipped into that pumpkin pie ink! Can you see the shadow ink bottle? It has spilled...
So I hope you find yourself thinking on what's limiting you today and bust through...might have to ink a few stamps and practice, but what fun it is to play and get our hands dirty! Thanks for your comments, they are burst of creativity.

This is awesome, Susan! When you're gifted with something that's so perfectly you, it's VERY special. We get gifts for occasions, but the best ones are just because someone was thinking of you. It was a super gift and so perfect for this fantastic card! Too bad the pen leaked ;)

Wonderfully delightful and introspective card, my friend. You used that color palette to perfection. How lovely your son purchased a stamp for you. He knows his mom well. Good job with parenting your children, Susan.
