Hello, I have decorated envelopes before but not for a long time and never this much. I started with this inspiration and then got out a little larger than A2 envelope since most of my cards are A2 but bulky, I need a bigger than A2 envelope. Yes Linda (Holstein) I make mostly just A2 size because of mailing. Since I forgot to answer your question before this.
I found some stencils and got out my spray bottles of water color (great for stuff like this!!) I masked a sprayed and over sprayed on some places for some extra color since these colors I chose are light.
I then got out (another stamp I haven't used yet!) and stamped the butterflies (the two at the top were done to cover up a smudge of ink!) I then tapped color from Distress pads onto an acrylic block and used my Aquabrush to apply the color to the butterflies. I have not done any calligraphy for years and years but I have some pens I got for scrapbooking and used those as I did NOT want the clean up of a real pen with an ink cartridge (cleaning the nib after). This is actually going to a dear sweet friend and I will finish the name and address later.
Thanks for looking!

Dazzling and stupendous, Robin! The USPS will be so bedazzled by its beauty, it will take longer to get there as each worker admires it along the way! ; ) You never go 1/2 way on anything you design. This is gorgeous.
