Toni challenged us to 'lose crafty weight' today ... I have looked at, and stroked the beautiful images from Graphic 45 ... for years ... and finally put the knife to some today! WAAAAAAAH !!!! I cut the postage border into stamps and popped them up with foam pads. There were roses on another piece so I fussy cut three of them, rolled them over a pencil and used Pinflair to keep them in shape. I used the SU die to cut the greeting. Now for a lie down ... lol ...

Know you call it "steampunk" and I guess the gears make it that way, but to me it look pure Alphonse Mucha Art Nouveau all the way. Lovely DP....lovely card.

Rest easy, Sandie. It was worth the use and cutting of this awesome paper to make such a beautiful card. And, those roses are gorgeous.

Sandie this is so beautifully done. I know what you mean about holding on to stunning papers and looking at it for so long but you did an amazing job with this one and it is sure to be treasured.

Ah, you've gone along the same lines as Sue. I do love cards made like this letting the paper do all the work. But, ha ha, I have at least 3 finished cards in my "keeper" box that I have had for at least 5 years because I can't bear to give them away. I didn't mind using the paper to make the card - but I don't want to lose it altogether. Sandie, this is so lovely; it's like the style of the Celtic revival book illustrations. I love all the dimension you added.

Sandy, I know how you feel.....go lie down for a bit and once you get up, look at this beautiful card and know that the person who receives it will view it with awe because of the gorgeous paper! This is really lovely!

Oh my gosh are these papers and colors gorgeous!!! I can see why you have been saving this. You could have left the sentiment off and framed this beauty so you could continue looking at it. I know how you feel; I have been holding onto some of my beauties as well. :>)
