Hi EVeryone - Happy 2016!! I am so glad to have had time to stamp today. I've been working on starting up my Stampin' Up business and have been busy making samples for an upcoming Open House (yippee!!), so it was good to take a break for some refreshing inspiration.
Thanks Lydia for a great site, and for the wonderful tutorial! Here's the images/set that caught my eye: {Nautical Nursery}
My card is an easy one. I started with a punched cardstock mask, temp glued that to my waterecolor panel and went to work dabbing three ink colors inside the punched flower areas. After that was dry I stamped over the areas with the coordinating Birthday Blossoms stamp, added some Melon Mambo splatters and mounted. Last step was adding a few white gel pen dots, stamping the sentiment, and creating/adhering the gold thread and gemstone elements.
For more photos and other fun details please stop by my brand new SU! Demo Blog: { Green Thumb Cards Blog }.
Thanks Everyone - Happy New Year!
Hugs,
Audrey

Gorgeous card...I love the splatters on the bg and the thin gold thread surrounding the sentiment. Best of luck with your new SU business and Happy New Year!

Beautiful, bright colors! The gold metallic thread is a perfect little somethin' extra to make your design more special. Good luck with your SU business!
