One of the great joys of living in a Northern climate is.....sledding!! I spent countless hours sledding or sliding as we called it because many times all we used was a piece of cardboard. Talk about going fast! Our neighbors had the perfect sledding hill in their backyard so all I had to do was walk about 30 feet to reach my favorite winter play area. So a winter tradition for me means sledding...which also makes me think of snow pants, snowball fights, frosty nights, and snow forts! Hope you like my card which is a reminder of those wonderful childhood years! Merry Christmas to all!!

Great background paper on this. Love that tree border die too. I also like the doily you used to bring the 4 squares together with that snowflake. Merry Christmas to you.

Love the colours and old-fashioned feel to this. We rarely have enough snow for any sort of sledding or snow sports, but when we do, old fertiliser bags or dustbin (trash can) lids are what most kids use.
Have a lovely Christmas, Polly.

Love the storyboards aspect of the stamps! Adding the die cuts behind and in the center of the story images was a great idea. Fab card!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU! What a wonderfully designed card ..... so fun to not only enjoy your sledding images, but to read all about your sledding memories! I wonder if this warmer than usual December is allowing you to enjoy any snowy activities?

I really love this card, Polly, very nostalgic for me. We called it "going sliding" when I was growing up, too! Hadva huge village park in the center of the small town I grew up in with multiple sledding hills and an ice skating rink - we practically lived there over Christmas vacation and winter weekends. Thanks for evoking some of my favorite memories- Merry Christmas!
