One of the great joys of living in a Northern climate is.....sledding!! I spent countless hours sledding or sliding as we called it because many times all we used was a piece of cardboard. Talk about going fast! Our neighbors had the perfect sledding hill in their backyard so all I had to do was walk about 30 feet to reach my favorite winter play area. So a winter tradition for me means sledding...which also makes me think of snow pants, snowball fights, frosty nights, and snow forts! Hope you like my card which is a reminder of those wonderful childhood years! Merry Christmas to all!!

This is so cool! Luv the 4 scenes. We called is sliding, too. The fastest 'sled' we had was the top of a refrigerator - moved like a rocket. Great memories - do today's kids even know what it's like to fly down a hill on a piece of cardboard? The snowflake and the tiny houses border are super!

What a gorgeously fun card Polly. As a kid our main entertainment in winter was sliding down the great hill in our back yard...and yes! you certainly could go 'lickety scoot' on a piece of cardboard! Oh the memories...thanks.

A magical collection of winter scenes depicting all the fun of sledding. We could only dream of this as kids and were very envious. Only tried skating once as a kid on a frozen puddle of ice - still carry the injury to the lower back till this day - he he. Great memories.
