HAD to REALLY put on my thinking cap for a New Years card, didn't have any New Years stampsÂ…..but I had fun doing it! I love to pull this old technique out every once in a whileÂ…the old retiform technique. Makes for a decent collage. Happy New Year everyone, almost, and Happy Tuesday!!

Neat card, Karen! I wondered how you were going to get your flowers on a card with these colors! The retiform is a neat idea and I love the world in the circle, with the gold frame!

Beautiful card, Karen, and I learned a new technique. I'd never heard of retiform before, so had to go look it up. You did a masterful job, and created a really beautiful card, perfect for someone going on a trip. Love this!

Amazing card! The different elements you used to create this stunning card just says WOW!!!! This is a new technique to me....have to check it out. Really like how the bg of the collage is muted with the world image is so vivid for the focal point. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Wonderful New Year's card, Karen, and what a terrific and creative use of the globe image! I love all your special elements; the metallic fibers, key charm, stamped vellum - well, everything about this!
