I made this sweet little church for the Vintage Christmas Challenge at A Vintage Journey - using new Village Dwelling dies from Sizzix/Tim Holtz. I stenciled the walls and roofs to look like siding and shingles and die cut the icicles out of Frosted and adhered them to the 'gutters' around the church. I put a battery candle inside the church and the light flickers when it's turned on making the church look lovely and warm through the windows!
I used white embossing paste for the snow - rubbing it on the peaks with my finger. I got the tree at Joann's in a package of about 10 assorted sizes. I added a little cross charm to the steeple.
Paper: Fine Linen, Dark Chocolate - PTI, glitter cardstock - Michaels, Frosted - Ranger
Paper Size: about 7" to steeple, ~3 3/4" wide.
Ink: Ranger Distress Tea Dye and Ground Espresso
Accessories: Village Dwelling, Village Bell Tower and Village Winter Dies - Sizzix/Tim Holtz, Stripes Stencil - Tim Holtz, Check Mate Stencil - Wendy Vecchi, ScorTape, Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive, Battery tea light, Wendy Vecchi White Embossing Paste, cross charm

What a wonderful project. I just love churches and can imagine how pretty this is when lit. The icicles and cross charm are such wonderful additions.
