If you want the tree to stand out, you need to use a glue that doesn't dry clear. There is a video that is very helpful. It really was a fun thing to do.
I got out my deckle scissors to cut around my sentiment and used a crimper which isn't showing much....well, not any.

You obviously have a wonderful artistic talent to free hand such a beautiful snow-laden tree, Brenda. Thanks for including the link. (have to look into it...AND find a glue that doesn't dry clear) Your card is beautiful and the tree looks so majestic against the navy bg.
