I LVOE Midnight Navy and I love it with pinks and yellows and white, but with other blues? Not so much. It was hard to break the purity of Midnight Navy and Whisper White so I used a sprig of glittery blue tied with the ribbon.

I'm so glad to see that there are others in the world who are sort of "purists", lol. I only like certain colors with certain other colors, too...
Ugliest card I ever made was for a color challenge with blue, green, and gray. I had to make a second card with mostly white and blue with a teensy smidge of green and gray in the image itself to be ANY kind of happy! I love that you tore your panel - so effective!

The layout on your card is fabulous!! I love the torn paper, and the sentiment in the white space! I agree.........lighter blue would have been wrong! Love the sparkly piece you added.
