I did this page before running off to garage sales yesterday. I plan to go back today and make some cards using Audrie's wonderful Pinterest board, but this week I went to a Bible Journaling class and when I saw this bird in the board
I felt inspired to draw it next to Matthew 6:26 - a verse I have needed a lot lately!!! My Friday was not too good and this verse calmed me and the sketching of this bird next to the verse kept me from dwelling on my Friday all day yesterday - it was a peaceful Saturday. Thanks for the inspiration, Audrie.
Try not to focus on my lack of handwriting, spacing, or drawing skills on this - you can see why I stamp instead of draw!! I just wanted to share how inspired I was by the board.

Lovely bird, Nancy, and what a wonderful idea to create your bird in a place that you will come to again and again, and that provides you such inspiration!

Nancy, this is amazing!!! I have a board on Pinterest for Bible Journaling and I so want to do this....I'm just skeered! I would love to take a class before I try my hand at it. I think this is a wonderful legacy for our children to have a bible that we drew, journaled and stamped in. Kudos to you for doing this. Hugz!!!!

There are so many things to say about your lovely, lovely post. I'm just hearing about Bible journalling in the last few days......I had no idea it had become an art form. I think your drawing is lovely and inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

SPECTACULAR, an inspiration genius design! I love everything about this! FYI That verse is near to my heart too as it grounds me and reduces unnecessary worry. I also enjoy Bible journaling and will combine handwriting with stamping, and some sketching too. It's a lot of fun to look back over previous journals, and it becomes even more precious as an heirloom to your family when you include your own handwriting too (I find your handwriting to be very lovely!)

Oh, Nancy, I saw this in your gallery and had to immediately open it up to see it. That bird just jumped right out of the page. How inspirational and I am glad you had a peaceful Saturday. Oh, if only we could learn sometimes . . .
