For the USEIT2015 challenge, I committed to using some Purple Onion stamps this month. In fact the lamp post is the only previously un-inked stamp on this card. I used a trimming of card from a previous project to stamp on, which suited the layout of the images but was then hard to turn into a card!
I stamped and masked Icicle, the bear. Then I figured out where Silver, the bird, should be, and stamped and masked it, and last of all I stamped the lamp post. I wanted the bird's tail to be in front of it, so I had to stamp it first. Luckily it wasn't crucial to within a quarter of an inch or so where I placed it, the important thing was fitting the lamp post in afterwards.
Coloured everything with pencils, then embossed it at and added lots of Stickles on the foreground snow and falling snow. It's edged with double-sided tape and glitter. I found a tall vertical greeting and stamped that on some dp. Originally I had more DP on the left of the image panel, but I didn't like it so I trimmed it off, die-cut the green edge to match the image panel edge and layered it onto some pearlescent card embossed with a snowflake ef.

I thought the image was all one stamp...you did such an amazing jpb with your masking. What a terrific scene you created. Your layout is so creative and all the stickles makes this one fun, fun, fun holiday card.
Oh, Sabrina, this is just too adorable!! What a fantastic job of masking and coloring! I love Purple Onion's images by Stacey Yacula and own a few myself.
