I liked how this turned out so I made a second one for my stash. After gluing a colage of newspaper to cardstock, I did the ombre technique by sponging TH distress inks in fossilized amber, rusty hinge, and vintage photo over the newsprint. I can never leave well enough alone, so I splattered water and sponged the edges with black. The leaf panel is a combination of sponging, stenciling, then heat embossing the leaves. I colored the butterfly with copics and added stickles, then popped him up on pop dots. Next time I want to do the ombre technique and really stick to tge rules. There are some gorgeous cards in the HYCCT1517gallery. TFL, Francie

What a striking card....I especially like the panel with the leaves and how you used stickles around the edge. And aren't distress inks the best...so many fun ways to use them Stay cool....we had another gorgeous Fall day here...went to the apple orchard yesterday

Fabulous! I really love that you didn't stick to all the rules; this card is unique and special. The glitter and shiny embossing add a lot. The background with the newsprint and water drops is fantastic. Nicely done. Thanks doing your own thing and experimenting. Look at what you accomplished! Thanks for supporting HYCCT.
