For Ann's challenge "Add some strength" we were asked to use a designer paper we had to have, and strengthen it using accessories. I used a beautiful pattern paper from DCWV that is pearlescent and and just so beautiful on its own. I decided to "strengthen" it by using a clear acetate tag so most of the paper would show, and I gold embossed the sentiment and layered that tag on top of a smaller brown tag, so the sentiment would show better. My sentiment for this card was "Remember you are always in my thoughts". This card, can be used to let someone dealing with this battle know they are not alone, but, I also think this card would be a perfect sympathy card for someone who lost a loved one to cancer. I think, most of the times, they are forgotten, and their battles can be as difficult as the person's suffering the disease. They are also the ones left behind when a battle is lost. And the "Strength" message is perfect for those left behind, too.

Oh, Carolina, this is a gorgeous card and really does show strength. I so love your descriptions and know that you really care about those battling cancer and those close to them who are in the battle too - along with those left behind. What a precious card and one that will be loved and appreciated so much! Hugs, sweet friend!

Awesome job on this challenge and what stunning DP you have here too. Yes it is beautiful standing on it's own and yet you still managed to make it even more stunning with your added pieces.
