A card for Cindy (Mothermark) whose husband died tragically a couple of weeks ago. We teapotters are going to flood her mailbox with proof that we care for her. I inked the image with pool party, spritzed it with water ad stamped, then used a watercolour pencil to colour the bird. Then cut out (most) of the image with the die. I stamped the sentiment on the dp with pool party, but it didn't come through very clearly, so I wrote over it with a tombow marker. This is also for this week's sketch challenge.

Ina, I did not know this news!! How very sad for dear Cindy. Yes, I hope the outpouring of love will let her know that we are keeping her close in thoughts and prayers. Your card is soft and delicate, may it bring the blessing of caring with it.

This is truly a gentle and comforting card - your soft bg is perfect for the lovely image - and gorgeous die cut.
I want to clarify, regarding your comment on my card - I actually used two different folders. The "sympathy" is all there is on that folder, except for a simple frame. I used it to emboss half of the panel, then put the other half of the panel into the butterfly folder.
