As you see from my avatar I have a golden retriever his name is Dylan. The name was chosen from the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, I'm holding on to my heritage .
Dylan is now almost 2 which means I have an 80lb dog with a puppy brain. I love this particular stamp out of the 3 in the penny black set as he's now learned to give himself a back scratch, which he does all the time at the beach with the sand. As you can imagine our house during the summer looks like a sand pit.
The sand is frantage embossing powder, I think it looks exactly like the sand flying around him as he wriggles around.

Awwww, how cute. I love this cute card with the adorable puppy. I can just see him wriggling in the sand to scratch his back. That embossing powder does look like sand. Thank you for joining me for the F4A challenge this week. Have a great weekend.

I love the embossed sand - how creative! This dog stamp is great. I had a dog that would do the same thing in the grass (at least it wasn't sand). Your puppy sounds like a real sweetheart.

I can see the real life picture that inspired your card - my dogs have always rolled in the sand too! Love the way you used the frantage ep - it's perfect. And I love the way you coloured the dog golden!

I watched my two granddogs do this while they lived here this past summer, and they had that same expression on their faces---aaaaahhh! Your sand looks fabulous mine just scratched in the grass!

This is just spectacular. The ep looks just like sand. Wonderful design decision to keep the rest simple. The bold red frame looks terrific. Baths have always stressed out my sweet pup, Dolly. Now that she is 15 we don't bath her as often to avoid the stress. She is a collie-keeshound mix. My floor looks like a sea of hairballs.

Love the frantage on this Christine...definitely looks like sand! Yes, our border loves to frolic in the grass like this...I swear there's a big smile on her face every time
