Lydia's Challenge "Whatever the Weather" is about endurance, and about turning something ugly into something beautiful. We were asked to use the weather condition we dislike the most, and turn it into something beautiful. I used rain, since it's not my favorite, I used the water to put out the destructive fire that represents cancer, turning it into a beautiful thing. I also use an umbrella to protect them from the water, which in this case is chemo, and with my sentiment the message that they are not alone. I have a loved one battling a different form of cancer, right now. And this is the message I would like to give him. I hope whomever receives my card also receives a message of hope and solidarity, and know they are not alone.

Wow, this is a great card and perfect for this challenge! Love the shading in the clouds, they have such a wonderful swirling motion to them. Great added elements of protection from the rain!
