A big Congrats to Penney, our newest Featured Stamper! She has such a wonderful gallery & it was hard to chose but I picked This card to case. I kept the flowers on the side & little greeting, but I used die cut flowers instead of stamped, slightly different colors & added a painted grid panel (from TLC235 ).
A long while back, I made some backgrounds on black card stock by placing some drywall mesh across it (it's sticky on the back side, like magic mesh), then brayering over it using white acrylic paint (aka painted grid tech). I used one of these for my middle layer & for the leaves & flower centers. And I used a curved die to divide the white panel & add a little interest.
The flowers were all die cut out of white, shaped a little, then the centers sponged with tumbled glass Distress ink. The greeting was die cut out of the Chalkboard paper collection.
Congrats again, Penney! Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

So glad you decided to hang on to your drywall tape dsp, Julie. I love that and the split bg. Your soft colored flowers was the perfect embellishment. Very pretty card.
