I don't know what's gotten into me. My last card I used pastel chalks and this one I used mulberry paper and an old SU' diecut. I don't see these used as much any more, but I'm thinking some more mulberry paper is in my future. Guess I'm going down memory lane when I first started making cards.
Anyway, the bird, flower and jute were from Michael's. I used the note b/g dp to coordinate with "Just a Note" - how clever - NOT! Placed the die cut behind the bird who is lathered in leaves and a large flower. Added some jute and mulberry paper to the left side. It was an afterthought because I ended up with everything on the right and nothing on the left. The best of plans don't always work out, but I hope I fixed it to give more balance.
Thanks for taking a look!

There is nothing wrong with a trip down memory lane and using up some of those poor forgotten, but still wonderful, pieces to create with, Pam! I just uploaded a card and noticed your pretty 'note' creation! Love this black and white theme....great sponging....cool looking birdie! ~Hugs

It's fun to get out some of those unused items and make a beautiful card. I love your leaves, flowers, and bird grouping. I'm really liking the jute you have been using , also. Two cards in two days....you are rollin'. Keep it up!

Oh, Pam, I also love the trip down memory lane and sometimes wish we could visit more often! I still think classic stamping and card making will always be loved, and that's why I love this one! And I love the music for the "just a note" and think it works perfectly. How fabulous that you were able to use all these unused items and put them together so beautifully. I love that little bird, and your flowers and leaves are beautiful! I agree with Brenda - keep it up, sweet friend, and know that you are dearly loved! Hugs!
