I just loved this set when I first saw it, especially that cat!
I wanted to create a non-Christmas scene with this. The cat seems like it's very intent at what it is watching, so I thought it would enjoy looking into a warm toasty fire.
Used blender pens to watercolor the fire, fireplace, and cat. The sentiment is actually from Happy Scenes, as this set is all Christmasy.
While I cut out the fire with the framelits, I decided to cut the cat out by hand instead of framelit for a more realistic look. Fireplace also cut out by hand.
Embossing at bottom of card give the floor some texture, next to the hardwood wall siding.
I love this set, I can't wait to use it some more!

This is an adorable card. Love that kitty warming by the fire. Your paneled wall looks great. Good job with the cutting.
