I am a space geek. I was thrilled to play along with the Ways To Use It challenge featuring...space! This one is for you Neil Degrasse Tyson...a newly discovered Birthday Nebula! I wish I could totally explain how I made this background but it was kind of a science experiment meaning that it might be a one and only. I haven't tried to reproduce it. Basically I added some colorful Brusho crystals to wet watercolor paper and "pushed" them around a little. Then I added black Brushos in a few spots and allowed the piece to air dry. Those of you that work with Brushos know that the real magic happens when you're not looking as the paint moves around and settles in. Once it was dry I did some spattering for stars. TYFL

Wowza your Brushos did an amazing job drying on this one. Like you, my entire family love space and this card is so amazing now I need to drag out my brushos to try to do something like this because I could use this for several people. Super cute card!

Amazing - this is so beautiful. I wish that it was possible to recreate successful backgrounds, but I can't. What a perfect card for the challenge this week.
Wow, this is amazing!! It looks like something you might see in a picture of somewhere deep in space. What beautiful colors. So cool!! Thanks for sharing!
