I loved making this card for Tricia's DTGD challenge today - the dahlia image hadn't seen ink yet, and it was one of the reasons I bought this particular kit from Unity Stamps. I stamped in a warm grey ink and watercolored using Distress Markers, then used extra ink to fill in the background. The dragonfly was stamped right over the flower and filled lightly with a white acrylic pen so the wings were still a little see through.
Dare To Get Dirty is a week of challenges, chatter, stamping and prizes especially for our Fan Club members! We hope you'll join the fun!

Those flowers are scrumptious, Dina! I love how you colored them and the "pop" of the dragonfly. Thanks SO, SO much for making a (absolutely gorgeous) sample for my challenge!

Wow this is so beautiful. Your colouring is out of this world, your flowers look so life like. This would make a wonderful Mothers Day card in Aus..dahlias are in full bloom then and are often referred to as Mothers Day Flowers.

Ack, I thought I had commented on this one. I composed my comment mentally at least, because I remember that what I loved was the transparency in the dragonfly wings.
