My card is for Irene's DTGD challenge today. I made the background using my MISTI - I sprinkled Brusho powder on a piece of watercolor paper, then spritzed and stamped the background stamp with water a few times. This piece was an end cut that just had the background stamped on one side. I stamped the Tea Tools image over the background, and bleached out areas of the background that were inside the tools. Those are watercolored with Zig markers. I filled in the rest of the background with QoR paints, adding a drop shadow around the rectangle so it appears to be an additional layer.
Dare To Get Dirty is a week of challenges, chatter, stamping and prizes especially for our Fan Club members! We hope you'll join the fun!

Dina, What a great technique to use. I love the contrast you got. If only done this technique a couple of times and never seem to get my bleached area so light. I will have to try again. Love the vintage feel of your card with the sugar tongs and the tea scoops... and your charm is just darling. Thank you for making a sample for my challenge.. Hugs
