A big congrats to Debra, the newest Featured Stamper! What a big, wonderful gallery! I chose This to case. I kept the same layout & similar colors, but I used different images & a recycled Christmas card for my background.
I came across a stack of Christmas card fronts (store bought) I had saved & thought the little river w/ the snowy banks just seemed perfect for my boat. After I stamped it & colored w/ Copics I used what I call "into the window" technique shown HERE. Then I die cut the outer frame & stamped part of the greeting in the lower right. The top loop of the F went into the picture so I took a white gel pen and went over that loop to make it stand out.
Congrats again, Debra! Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, what a gorgeous scene you've created here. I can almost hear the crickets and frogs.

'Row, row, row, your boat, gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is just a dream.'
My Dad used to sing this when I was very young. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! I love how you incorporated your dock and shore into the recycled scenery! Another memory - this time of my cottage. This is a gorgeous card and going into my favourites for sure! TFS
