A big congrats to Debra, the newest Featured Stamper! What a big, wonderful gallery! I chose This to case. I kept the same layout & similar colors, but I used different images & a recycled Christmas card for my background.
I came across a stack of Christmas card fronts (store bought) I had saved & thought the little river w/ the snowy banks just seemed perfect for my boat. After I stamped it & colored w/ Copics I used what I call "into the window" technique shown HERE. Then I die cut the outer frame & stamped part of the greeting in the lower right. The top loop of the F went into the picture so I took a white gel pen and went over that loop to make it stand out.
Congrats again, Debra! Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Wow Julie, this is gorgeous! Your bg looks like a photo and you placed your stamping perfectly on it. Love that recycled card bit...I should try that one more often. Beautiful!

Amazing! Just stunning. Your technique is fabulous. Thank you for sharing the "how to" with us. Your choice of Christmas card to recycle is perfect; it goes absolutely great with your design. Very nicely done. TFS

Julie, I love this! You have made a work of art out of an old card front and your own awesome stamping additions. I love the way you coloured it all to match and the way the sentiment was placed.
