This is for Shirleys fun Free for All challenge. I was inspired by Stacys great VSN challenge to use up all the left overs from the VSN.
The bird was left over from a card earlier in the week. I used the stencil that was still on my desk from Tuesday.
The background was done on my gelli plate. My plate is 8" x 10" so I always do an A4 piece of cardstock then cut it into panels before adding extras like stencilling, extra colours etc.
Big bird was left over from the other day when I was expreimenting with brushos, I hand drew some 'feathers' on him.
Accessories: Gelli plate, MFT spiderweb stencil, acrylic paint, distress inks, brushos (on bird), micron pen, Sharpie white paint pen, fence die and umbrella die

I agree - this is so fun! Your backgrounds are always so fascinating, and the bird is hilarious with his long speckled legs. You really have the water drops down - they look amazing! Another fantastic card, Susie!

You have a style I will never tire of seeing! Love the idea of the larger gelli plate. This is another amazing card, Susie! Your hand drawn legs make this bird a favorite of mine, right up there with the Tim Holtz bird crazies! Your backgrounds, magnificent! Adding the white gel pen makes your art so special!

Oh wow, Susie! I love your pretty bird (that's my parrot's favorite saying, lol). The colors & embellishing are really wonderful. I recently bought a Gelli plate but haven't really played w/ it much, yet. Sheesh! I think I'm gonna have to lock hubs in a closet and put ear phones on so I can't hear him. He's really cutting into my craft time!
