For this weeks CAS card challenge Paula aka mrslaird challenged us to make a thank you card for someone special.
First I sized and cut various circle shapes for stencils using my Silhouette. Used the larger regular circle first and picked the lightest blue to stencil. Secondly, added the smaller circular shapes over lapping the blue circles a bit. Then applied the teal with another shape again overlapping the larger circles, combining the two colors.
Thought that the card needed something additional so I stenciled in some black flourishes. Added three lightly colored teal spangles on top of the teal edged circles!
Still was not happy with the way the card looked so I added some Stickles onto the second darkest circles which of course then I did not like the look! So I took my baby wipes and dabbed away some of the Stickles and the color and used that color on the rest of the card to give the white areas some light blue color!
Thanks for Looking!!

I have absolutely no idea how you made this card. Yes, I read your narrative and I'm still unable to figure your art work out. This is gorgeous. I've noticed you've mentioned your cricut several times when making cards. Do you use it a lot? This past week end, my DH asked me if I wanted one. I said no. I would never use it enough to justify the cost. Plus, I'd never be able to figure out how to use it. I love what you were able to do with today's card. I think it's gorgeous, Ann.
