After going way over board on my son's birthday cad, I was going to take a crafting break... famous last words. Sabrina's WT challenge was so tempting. I love butterflies and for a long time I have had visions of the die cut explosion of butterflies type of cards on my mind.... I have missed plenty of off ramps thinking of this card while driving. I had scraps of sponged bg paper from my other CC card. So, you know the rest. There I was, late last night like an alcoholic surrounded by empty bottles. Only I had die cuts, glue and butterflies everywhere. I even woke up with a hangover headache and a butterfly glued to my foot. Which is better than those stories of alcoholics who wake up with a butterfly tatooed to their butt. For the MIX to use texture, my butterflies are all double layered with the top layers embossed. Then there is a lot of texture from glossy accents, stickles and perfect pearls. As usual, this is very different IRL. Each piece only had a little corner glued down, so there is a lot of dimension with things sticking up everywhere. TFL, Francie

GASP! This is unbelievable, Francie! I can't begin to imagine how awesome this looks IRL. You have outdone yourself! I could write a book, but I'll just say WOW!

I love this sort of card and have never tried it. Against the black background it is especially dramatic. I always love your Liquid Pearl dots - because I have to stand up and walk over to a shelf to get mine, I usually only bring back the colour I think I need. I love the way you've used several different colours.
ps Just changing your keyword for the MIX, it's 119 ;-).
pps - laughing out loud at "too much gluing" in your techniques.

Good golly miss Molly! Where did you get so many different butterfly dies??? Wow!! This is truly a butterfly explosion and I LOVE it! What a funny story too. Love the part about waking up to a butterfly stuck to your foot! Sounds like a Susie story!! This is just fantastically breathtakingly beautiful!

Love all your amazing beautiful butterflies. You made me smile when I read about the butterfly glued to you rather than tattooed to your backside. Great card.

I can't begin to imagine how long this must have taken you. I can't imagine where your creativity comes from either. Those colors are so vibrant and vivid. The design is spectacular and the execution phenomenal. OMGoodness, you are one seriously skilled artist.
