Robin's challenge is to use the colors of May on our cards....emerald and sapphire. I knew emerald was the birthstone for May, but had no idea about the "mystical color" of sapphire. Always learn something new here on SCS. I'm afraid my "emerald" came out like a poor quality one....not the sought after Colombian ones. : )
I discovered this AM that my card also fit the MIX119 to have "texture"....in my case, embossing powder and stacked die cuts to give depth.
A card for a friend who has been taking care of others and needs to take some time for herself.

I love the stenciled background behind that fabulous pine tree - what a gorgeous stamp! The chair in the foreground adds so much depth. This is terrific, Sallie! Hopefully your friend will heed your advice!

If anyone can paint "relax", you sure can! This so reminds me of sitting on a porch overlooking a beautiful, tropical sea. Love the background texture and the out of the frame chair. What awesome stamps you used on this!

Great silhouetting, against the stenciled BG that reminds me of a luan screen! Love those restful colors too - you always excel in picking just the right ones for your cards!!
