Joanne is our new hostess over at CCEE Stampers since we are into a new month. You'd never think it was May seeing the weather here; everybody has turned their heating back on!
This week Joanne asks us to use an embossing folder, brads, and a self-made flower, and I combined it with my WT challenge ;-), although I also made a card especially for that.
My embossing folder was D'vine Swirl, used with some K&Co paper, then swiped with Peeled Paint. I added chunky EP round the edges.
Papillon Potpourri stamped and embossed with white on vellum, then coloured with alcohol inks on the back - before punching.
ODBD Asters cut from scrap paper, pearl brads, foremost one has a little circle of foam to raise it up. TCP sentiment (Simply Said) stamped on the reverse side of the paper with the SU label punch and edged edged with a gold pen.

Love that you used this for both challenges. I should try to guess the WT challenge early trying to figure it out from the CCEE post. That would be a challenge in itself wouldn't it. I'm not as great on the mental challenges though. LOL
Beautiful card!

Beautiful! I love the ink over the raised areas and the chunky gold around the edge is fabulous. I always forget about that stuff. Love the asters, too.
