This is my card for the F4A271 challenge "Getting Hitched" - Jeanne challenged us to make a wedding or anniversary card. Worked out great for me, because I needed a wedding card anyway!
I chose the gorgeous Prima paper because the colors are do close to the wedding colors. I inked up the HS Florals background stamp with GKD Kraft ink and stamped off once before stamping on the patterned paper. You may not be able to see it in the photo, but I used it as a tie-in to the script that I stamped on the base (cream) layer. I also stamped a scrap of the same paper to use for the sentiment panel. Then I stamped the sentiment in the Kraft ink, using MISTI to be certain it was straight and that I would get a good image. I re-inked the stamp with VersaMark and heat embossed with clear ep.
The patterned paper and sentiment panel were die cut with an SB decorative border and attached to the base layer with Sookwang tape. I edged the panel with fancy ribbon and backed the layer with a matching piece of craft foam before adhering everything to the base.
I made a tiny Quilled rose, attaching it to it's base with Crafter's Pick glue, and sprinkled glitter inside to stick to any exposed adhesive. I arranged it with two leaves in the sentiment panel.
AS always, thanks for looking!

What a beautiful card! I love the cream, rose, and green colours! Your large scalloped border with the little rose really underpins your sentiment so sweetly. TFS

That paper is gorgeous, particularly with your stamping over it, a technique I never think to do! This is just beautiful, Jody! Love the layered scalloped border and what a gorgeous font for the sentiment! The rolled rose is such a wonderful, finishing touch! Love the realistic looking leaves, too!

Oh, Jody, what a beautifully crafted card - with such a Victorian look! Love the scalloped edge at the bottom, and the stamping of that GREAT sentiment on the lower DP, the bit of lace trim, and your adorable quilled flower just make this card so elegant - I am sure it will be treasured!
WHERE did you get that sentiment?? LOVE IT!
