Where does the time go? I can't believe it will be 45 years this anniversary that Mr Noofy and I tied the knot! Seems like only yesterday and I am proud to say that I can still wear the same earrings that I wore then!!...really...no kidding! LOL I decided to keep the card fairly simple using a scroll type flower die from Cheery Lynn. I cut the die in black then glued the negative pieces back on the card. The greeting is also from Cheery Lynn. I did a doodle around the outside in white. I don't have very good luck with white gel pens so I have been using a fine marking pen for fabric from Clover and I have to say that I am impressed. It flows smoothly, dries quickly and doesn't rub off. The best thing is it doesn't clog or dry up either.

I love the white you added, and I have to agree with you, the white gel pens are tricky to say the least. I think I'd better look into the one from Clover you used. I really like all the black, and that flourish and flower are just beautiful. Congratulations on 45 years with Mr. Noofy!!

Elegant and beautiful, Sue. Love your doodling around the flourish die cut...gives an extra personal artistic touch. Thanks for the tip about a white pen...I have at least a dozen "dead soldiers" of the papercrafting sort.

Sue, you know I always been attracted to your style....this card is another one of those elegant and classy cards. Happy 45 years...they do go fast don't they. I had to smile on the comment on my card, and your deets. Everything sure has a way of going south! Glad those earrings still fit. Fav'd tfs Thanks for the tip about the white pen....I use a Sharpie poster paint pen that works great, and doesn't clog, but it has to be the poster paint one not the oil paint.

Mrs. Noofy, your card is beautiful and I love the doodling. You need to give me lessons. That's such a pretty fabric flower, too. It's all elegant in black and white.
Happy upcoming 45th anniversary!
